Dr. Smriti Agnihotri

Dr. Smriti Agnihotri, MBBS, MD, is an accomplished pathologist and medical educator with over 22 years of experience. Currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Pathology at the American University of Antigua (AUA), Dr. Agnihotri plays a key role in overseeing faculty, developing curricula, and shaping academic programs. In addition to her leadership role, she is a Professor of Pathology, teaching medical students and facilitating small group sessions, while also contributing to curriculum development and student assessment.

Dr. Agnihotri holds an ESME Certificate in Medical Education and is a FAIMER Fellow, reflecting her commitment to advancing medical education through innovative teaching practices. She has worked in several countries, including India, Nepal, Mauritius, and Antigua, gaining extensive experience with diverse student populations. Her research spans a wide range of topics, including clinical pathology, medical education, and public health, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Throughout her career, Dr. Agnihotri has remained dedicated to improving the quality of medical education, mentoring faculty, and supporting students in achieving academic success.
